The Theatre Group Asia has announced additional shows for the much-anticipated production of Into The Woods this coming August at the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre.
August 29, Friday 7:30PM
August 30, Saturday 2:00PM and 7:30PM
August 31, Sunday 2:00PM and 7:30PM

The additional show dates are in response to the overwhelming demand that saw close to 30,000 tickets sold out within the first two hours of the box office opening.
"This only illustrates how the Philippine theatre scene is so alive!" said Chris Mohnani, the show's executive producer. "More and more Filipinos are becoming more enthusiastic about theatre once again, and this can only be a good thing for the industry and for our Philippine talents and creatives. While we anticipated the surge due to the growing public excitement since our announcement, we couldn't have imagined this level of public response, which can only be described as phenomenal. We closely monitored the feedback and response, and we are grateful for the public's patience and perseverance. Together with our entire production team and cast, these additional shows are our way of sharing our humble appreciation to the warmth and support the public has given Into The Woods."
Into The Woods stellar casts includes: Lea Salonga, Nic Chien, Arielle Jacobs and Eugene Domingo. Award-winning visionary Clint Ramos, serves as overall artistic and creative director, with co-producers John and Joanna Echauz, and Chris Mohnani of S-PAT.
Into The Woods is based on James Lapine's book, who also directed the original Broadway run.
